Had the best lunch and tasting at Honsberger. There weren’t any open tables but they let us order food and sit in the winery area. Barb went above and beyond and let us taste so many delicious wines. Nice clean, sharp, dry wines. Particularly fell in love with the rose and the cab franc. Lunch was also delicious. I had the mushroom melt, which came wrapped in pizza dough and had a pesto sauce. My friend had the falafel salad that was super fresh. There are also sheep and llamas on the property. Truly an amazing family winery that does wine tastings the way they should be done. Hidden gem for brunch! This winery does Sunday brunch in the small barn - an absolutely amazing atmosphere and friendly staff. They offer both sweet and savoury dutch babies which have been hard to find in this area, along with many other hand crafted delicious dishes. We tried the shrimp roll and the pork belly benedict - great portion sizes and very flavourful.

We had our wedding at Honsberger Estate on June 22nd and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything from the food and drinks, to the service and staff, the atmosphere and more was perfection. The venue’s wedding coordinator Amelia was such a joy to work with - organized, efficient and super kind. So many of our guests commented on how stunning of a wedding venue it is. It is the perfect mix of elegant with rustic charm. Would highly recommend Honsberger as a wedding venue, restaurant, and winery and we’ll be coming back to celebrate every anniversary.
Food and service were amazing! Patio was such a fun atmosphere! Michelle (Meme) was super lovely! Chef Sid was accommodating to my dietary restrictions! An amazing experience!
Such a great night! Love the ambiance here. Live acoustic music was the perfect touch. We had the sharing board, chicken sandwich, burger, Fun Guy pizza and the pasta feature. All were delicious, but the pasta feature had a pesto sauce that could use more garlic, it was quite bland. For drinks we tried the First Generation Lemonade and the specialty margarita. Lemonade was a hit, the margarita was not. The patio is beautiful, we enjoyed such a relaxing enjoyable night, definitely will be returning.
We had our wedding at Honsberger back in December - and we couldn't be happier with our experience! Mel, the wedding planner was so helpful and accommodating for us! She made sure that every little detail was perfectly executed... we couldn't be more grateful for all her help throughout the process!! As always, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was gorgeous!
I've come here a few times over the past few years in the summer for dog friendly patio days at the restaurant. This gorgeous winery even has a farm at the front where you can see some farm animals including alpacas! They changed the menu seasonally and use locally grown ingredients On our last visit comma we ordered: Shrimp lettuce wraps Seasonal Pizzas Chicken Sandwich on Ciabatta with Truffle Parm Fries Seasonal Dessert Can't wait till next season when we can visit again with the dogs!
